Thatβs a wrap! The 10th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival, hosted by MAP on May 1st and May 2nd, was a huge success thanks to 270 attendees and our amazing venue hosts at Alibi Ale Works, Truckee Public House, and Alder Creek Adventure Center in Tahoe Donner. We had TWO sold-out nights featuring 12 films meant to mobilize and inspire change. Check out the event photos by Matthew Mikaelian. A BIG thank you to our 35 Sponsors and National Sponsors who helped MAP bring the festival to Truckee Tahoe this spring. We also want to give a big thank you to the 30 Truckee Tahoe Businesses that made our Virtual Auction possible! With the support of 25 supporting auction donors, MAP raised $6,100 through the virtual auction, which will benefit MAPβs mission-driven work to protect open space and advocate for responsible development. Thank you to all the donors for the items, and to our MAP bidders for your love and support!

MAPβs 10th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival - On Tour features an inspiring curated program packed with 12 films and two nights of different programming at two new venues, which we are excited to share with MAP members and the community! This yearβs theme, Mobilize, is set in motion, featuring films about wildlife and keeping it wild, how advocacy creates action when it comes to preserving natural resources, the impacts of climate change, and whatβs at stake, and outdoor and female empowerment films. Itβs a family-friendly program each night, making it the perfect outing for a family or a date night!
