14th Annual Sierra Forage Dinner
The annual dinner hosted at Mitchell’s Meadows was a beautiful night in a hidden venue 30 minutes outside Truckee and an absolute blast! The food by Noisettes, the music by Danger Rose, the wine by Grounded Wine Co., and our fun and witty auctioneer, Ravn Whittington, with Porter Simon Law, helped MAP raise critical dollars to enact our mission and do our work. Thank you again to all 140 guests, our host Fred and Pamela Mitchell, volunteers, chefs, staff, wine donors, and ALL our amazing sponsors who made the evening possible! Check out our Photo Gallery by Charlie Richter on our website.

Thank you to the 82 donors who helped us reach our Sierra Forage goal. We are truly grateful for all the support at our annual dinner and the critical funding raised for MAP’s priority land use and conservation campaigns. 14th Annual Sierra Forage Dinner
Hosted by MAP | Featuring:
Locally Sourced, Organic, Vegetarian
Multi-Course Dinner by Noisettes
The Sierra Forage Dinner is centered around the ideology of good food shared by good people who give back to the environment and community! We are thrilled to feature a locally-sourced and ethically-curated vegetarian, multi-course meal prepared by the Sallah sisters of Noisettes. The dinner will feature passed hors d’oeuvres during the cocktail hour, three plated courses, and dessert to finish the culinary experience. Michelle and Mary are a dynamic sister team, bringing talent and passion for small-scale agriculture to tables in Tahoe.
Wine Pairings by Josh Phelps of Grounded Wine Co.
The Sierra Forage Dinner will feature wine pairings by Grounded Wine Company, led by Josh Phelps. The vineyard, in St. Helena, Napa Valley, California, will pair wines to complement four courses.
“My favorite part about making wine in these different regions throughout the West Coast is that I get to be a part of these different winemaking communities. So much of it is about the people.” JOSH PHELPS
Winemaker Josh Phelps's roots run deep; raised in a winemaking family, he was exposed to the industry from a young age. He continued to build his business knowledge through college, selling wine, working harvests, and creating wine for friends with his father, Chris Phelps. With GWCo., Josh hopes to build on this legacy and make his own splash in the wine world while exposing wine drinkers of his own generation to his hometown in wine country.
LIVE AUCTION

We will share more about the auction as we get closer to the event!
