Thank You Wild & Scenic Film Festival Attendees

Thank you to the 300 people who showed up for the two days of Wild & Scenic - On Tour in Truckee Tahoe. Showcasing environmental and adventure films is one way MAP is helping to educate and inspire youth and adults to learn about environmental issues and how to address them in your own community. Both events were filled with epic outdoor adventure and environmental films, a fantastic raffle, and community members coming together in the name of grassroots activism. With the support of sponsors, ticket sales, raffle items, bar, and membership, $31,000 was raised to support MAP’s mission and work.

We are grateful for the incredible support we received from sponsors, raffle donors, volunteers, MAP filmmakers, and festival-goers, who all made the 8th Annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival a huge success. Thank you, Truckee Tahoe.

Wild & Scenic Raffle Winners

Thank you to all the raffle supporters for the film festival event hosted by MAP this past weekend. We were blown away by the support from more than 40 local businesses to raffle off $8,000 worth of giveaways! We have 50+ people to call and email and we will start that outreach on Tuesday, March 23rd.

MAP raised $2,600, directly supporting our priority conservation and advocacy campaigns this year. Thank you to all festival attendees who supported the raffle; we could not activate MAP’s mission without your financial support!
